This widefield view of the area around NGC 6820 (the
"pillar" just to the right of center) shows the open cluster NGC 6823
(as if being pointed at by NGC 6820) as well as the surrounding
nebulosity, including other dim pillars in the region. This image is HaRGB,
including 3.5 hours of Ha data, where Ha was used for Luminance and Ha:R (80:20) was used for the Red channel. |
